Textured Play-doh

25 Oct

Play-doh is a big deal at our house. MY BOYS LOVE IT! I hate to say it, but I am one of “those moms” who really doesn’t like to get it out too much. I hide it.

BUT when I am in the mood to pick up dry crusty “doh” off the carpet, I can get really playful with my boys making some art. I found this neat idea on how to make a textured roller with a hot glue gun here.

It is super easy, which is an added plus. I did our texture on tin foil over a rolling pin. This way I can “recreate” it with other designs; being that the tin foil can easily come off when I want it to. The photo below looks like a pineapple texture doesn’t it? :-)

Great idea for the hot glue gun on the roller! The soup recipe looks delicious too! =)
